Time in Kharn... a mystery, until now.
Because of recent arguments, I have thought that it is best we implement an OFFICIAL time system.
My best idea was one month = Two Kharn Years for an adult, but four a child. The whole "children age faster" thing may be strange at first, but I feel we can work around it.
Further opinions may be posted here.

Truthfully, I'm going to put this in logical perspective for a woman when going with the rule of one month = two adult and four child.
If you take it on a female perspective, that means pregnancy will last about two weeks irl. If a child wanted to reach 10 human years, that's two and a half months irl. This is the problem with setting an actual time on children. I mean, if we set it on adults then we probably should on children. I just can't see this whole thing working like that. I don't know what a good estimate should be, but I set my vote to None and I'll lock that in.

It's a good idea of a official time and i have no trouble with the entire adult years but the children years are just a bit ... odd.. For elves atleast!
As mentioned above it takes alot of time with pregnancy so my idea was: Let the user decide thereself.. It is just to mutch. Maybe one likes to have a little baby for like a month but the other would really like one of those annoying teenagers? So as i said above: Let the player decide themself!

It is a difficult one as no one wants to RP a baby for more than like an hour but what we could do it have it in steps so baby (suggestion of about 1 hour or so), toddler(suggestion of about 2 days or so) ,young child (suggestion of about 4 days or so),child(suggestion of about a week) ,teenager(suggestion of about 2 weeks), young adult(suggestion of about 3 weeks), adult(unlimited) , elderly (as long as you want before you die of old age each taking a different amount of time. like i have suggested but ti would vary with each race. Also i believe it depends on how active someone is as someone who is on 24/7 should age a lot faster than someone who was on for an average of half and hour a day. But i agree with you temp it should be up to them but still with restrictions as someone wanted to get to 16 in a day. This is completely to much and is wrong so we still need some restrictions

I mean, with Anastyn who is having her child relatively soon, I don't want to obviously RP a tiny child for long because it would be rather fun to get active with them and actually interact. It's not that I don't want to RP it. I'm just anxious for when they're older. Most of the players with children have to estimate the time for everything since it's hard to know what it would be in game without some serious calculations.
